تجمع يمني في قلب لندن: حين اجتمعنا على المحبة والانتماء في ريجنت بارك

في يومٍ مشمس من أيام لندن، وتحديدًا يوم الجمعة 2 مايو 2025، اجتمعت القلوب اليمنية في ريجنت بارك، في لمةٍ لم تكن كباقي اللقاءات. لقد كانت أكثر من مجرد نزهة، بل كانت لحظة وطن في الغربة، لحظة امتلأت فيها الأرواح بالفرح، والقلوب بالأنس، والوجوه بالبِشر.

توافد الحضور منذ الساعة الثانية ظهرًا، بروح يملؤها الشوق والانتماء. شباب وأطفال، رجال ونساء، من مختلف الأعمار والمناطق اليمنية، اجتمعوا ليصنعوا مشهدًا رائعًا من الألفة والتآخي، وليمثلوا اليمن بأجمل صورة في قلب لندن.

أجواء أخوية وبهجة يمنية أصيلة

بدأ اللقاء بجلسة جماعية في أحضان الطبيعة الخضراء، وسط نسمات لطيفة وأحاديث دافئة. تبادل الجميع أطراف الحديث، وتعرّف من لم يعرف، وتعانق من لم يلتقِ منذ زمن.
وجبة الغداء كانت فقرة مميزة، حيث شارك الجميع بأطباق شهية متنوعة من الأرز، والدجاج، والسلطات، والسحاوق، والخبز اليمني، إضافة إلى المشروبات المختلفة والعصائر، ما أضفى طابعًا منزليًا يملأه الدفء.

ولم تتوقف الأجواء هناك، فمع العصرية كان الحضور على موعد مع الشاي والكعك والمكسرات والحلويات، وأجواء ترفيهية حماسية، من كرة القدم والدومينو والشطرنج، وحتى سماعات البلوتوث التي بثّت أغانٍ يمنية أعادتنا بالذاكرة إلى لحظات الطفولة والفرح.

لمة لم تكن عابرة... بل حكاية انتماء وتفاؤل

لم تكن اللمة اليمنية مجرد لقاء عابر، بل كانت تجسيدًا حيًا لمعاني المحبة والتكافل. أعادت إلى أرواحنا دفء البيوت، وضحكات الجيران، وعبق الأعياد في زوايا الحارات القديمة. لقد بثّت فينا طاقة من التفاؤل وروح الأخوّة، وجعلتنا نشعر بأننا عائلة واحدة رغم الغربة.

وقد جاء هذا اللقاء الجميل بتنظيم راقٍ من الأخ صامد العامري، الذي أضفى عليه لمسة إنسانية عميقة وجمع القلوب قبل الأجساد في أمسية لا تُنسى.

وما زاد اللقاء جمالًا هو التزام الجميع، فكل من حضر كان جزءًا من التنظيم والنجاح — بإحضار سجادة الصلاة، أو طبق من الطعام، أو حتى مجرد حضور دافئ.

شكرًا من القلب...

لكل من حضر وشارك وأسهم في خلق هذه الأجواء الراقية، نشكركم من القلب. أنتم سر نجاح هذه المبادرة، وبكم تستمر هذه اللمّات الجميلة التي نعتز بها ونفتخر بها كجالية يمنية واعية ومتآلفة في المهجر.

ونلتمس العذر لكل من لم يتمكن من الحضور، ونعلم أن القلوب كانت معنا، ونعدكم أن اللقاءات القادمة ستكون أجمل وأشمل بإذن الله.

رسالة محبة من الغربة...

لقد كتبت كثيرًا، وبحثت عن كلمات تعبّر عن مشاعري تجاه هذا اللقاء، ثم محوتها، وكتبت من جديد... فلم أجد ما يُنصف جمال ما عشناه.
التكاتف في الغربة ليس رفاهية، بل ضرورة. علينا أن نكون سندًا لبعضنا، أن نتجاوز آثار الحرب التي فرّقتنا، ونسعى لبناء مجتمعٍ صغير يعكس أجمل ما في اليمن من قيم، ويُعلّم أبناءنا معنى الانتماء الحقيقي.

نسأل الله أن يديم علينا نعمة المحبة والتواصل، وأن يجمعنا دائمًا على الخير، وأن يُعيدنا إلى وطننا سالمين، وقد عاد إليه الأمن والاستقرار.

A Yemeni Gathering in the Heart of London: United by Love and Belonging in Regent’s Park

On a sunny London day — Friday, May 2, 2025 — Yemeni hearts came together in Regent’s Park in a gathering that was unlike any other. It was more than just a picnic; it was a moment of homeland in exile — a moment filled with joy, warmth, and smiling faces.

From 2:00 PM, attendees began to arrive, their spirits brimming with longing and belonging. Men, women, youth, and children from all ages and various parts of Yemen came together to create a beautiful scene of unity and brotherhood, representing Yemen in the best light — right in the heart of London.

Genuine Yemeni Joy and Brotherhood

The gathering began with a collective sit-down amidst the green nature, surrounded by a gentle breeze and warm conversations. Strangers became friends, old friends reunited, and hearts connected.

Lunch was a highlight — everyone contributed delicious dishes: rice, chicken, salads, sahawiq, Yemeni bread, and a variety of drinks and juices, creating a cozy, home-like atmosphere.

And the fun didn’t stop there. As the afternoon wore on, there was tea, cookies, nuts, sweets, and a lively atmosphere full of games like football, dominoes, and chess. Bluetooth speakers played Yemeni songs that transported us back to our childhood memories and moments of joy.

More Than a Gathering… A Story of Belonging and Hope

This Yemeni gathering was more than just a meet-up — it was a message of love and solidarity. It brought back the warmth of home, the laughter of neighbors, and the scent of Eid in old alleyways. It rekindled hope and brotherhood and served as an opportunity to strengthen bonds within our community as one family.

What made the day even more special was everyone's commitment. Each person contributed — by bringing a prayer mat, a dish, or simply by being there with their warm presence.

To everyone who attended, shared, and helped create this beautiful atmosphere — we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are the reason this initiative was such a success, and with your support, these gatherings will continue to grow — something we are proud of as a united, thoughtful Yemeni community in the diaspora.

To those who couldn’t make it — we understand, and we know your hearts were with us. We promise the upcoming gatherings will be even more beautiful and inclusive, God willing.

A Message of Love from Exile…

I’ve written a lot, erased, and rewritten, searching for words that could truly express how I felt about this day — but none did justice to the beauty we experienced.

In exile, standing together is not a luxury — it’s a necessity. We must be a support system for one another, rise above the scars of war that scattered us, and work to build a small community that reflects the best of Yemeni values and teaches our children the true meaning of belonging.

We ask God to preserve the blessing of love and connection among us, to always bring us together for good, and to return us safely to a peaceful and secure homeland.
