في عام 1938 م أفتتح الحاج / محمد حسن الكبوس أول متجر لبيع البن اليمني المطحون في اليمن وكان أول من أدخـل محامص ومطاحن البن الآليـة إلى اليمن في عام 1951 م ، حيث لم يكن هناك إلا الطرق التقليدية اليدوية لطحن وتحميص البن. واتسع إهتمام الكبوس بتطوير تجارته التي أحبها وأخلص لها فارتبط أسـم الكبوس منذ ذلك الوقت يجــودة البن الذي يقدمه للمستهلك . ويزرع هذا البن الذي يدعى أبو ( الحبة الذهبية ) في منطقة ( بني مطر ) بمحافظة صنعاء فهو من المزروعات التي تلقى إهتماما فائقا في زراعتهـا بالطرق التقليدية الطبيعية
